Speech Therapy Services

We provide comprehensive speech and language services for children from birth to age five in a variety of settings. Our primary office is located in Watchung, New Jersey. Additionally, we offer school-based speech therapy in select local educational facilities; however, these services are contingent upon your child's school granting permission for our speech-language pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy on-site. Home-based therapy services are currently limited and are available on a case-by-case basis. We proudly serve families in central New Jersey, including the towns of Warren, Watchung, Gillette, Stirling, Berkeley Heights, and Basking Ridge, as well as surrounding areas.

EVALUATIONS

We provide evaluations to determine if a speech and/or language impairment is present. Upon completion, you will receive a comprehensive written report, which includes any testing results, assessment of the child’s communication strengths and needs, as well as any recommendations for intervention.

THERAPY

We provide individualized therapy for articulation and phonological disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, expressive and receptive language delay, and late talkers. Therapy is provided in various locations including in your child’s school or in our office located in Watchung. Session frequency and duration will be determined following assessment and evaluation.

FAQ:

  • We are considered an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance at this time. However, we will gladly provide an invoice/superbill as well as additional documentation that may be needed for you to submit to your insurance company. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance company directly to see to what extent speech and language services are covered.

  • We do not specialize in gestalt language processing or autism spectrum disorder. It is recommended that you find a therapist who specializes in these areas to best treat your child.

  • Most likely yes. If your child has had a comprehensive speech/language evaluation within the last year, we may be able to accept that and start therapy right away.

  • At times, we do work with children older than 5. However, these cases are strictly limited to articulation/speech sound disorders. Additionally, as we do not provide therapy after school hours, sessions would have to be done during your child’s school day. If you child attends a private school where speech therapy services are not offered, we can contact the school to see if they would allow our SLP to work with your child at his/her school.
